This is the latest link exchange technique. It is usually works this way. You have a new site (A) and one older site (B) with good PR. You want to increase the PR and traffic of your new site so you make a deal with other website administrator that he will link to your new site (A). For that you will link from your site (B) to his website. Last step is the link from your new site (A) to your site (B). This way each website will receive one-way links which are most valuable from the SEO purpose. There is also four and five way link exchange which works on the same principle. But if there are more sites involved it is harder to control location of your site.

Have you ever heard about favorite icons or just favicons? Those are that little images which appear next to the web address in the web browsers. If you are thinking about creating your business blog this is the great way how to incorporate your business identity into your blog. If you want to be different than the others this is fancy way how to do it.
So first of all we are going to need small software which changes your common image file (.jpg) into icon file (.ico). I use free software called Imagicon. Just google it, download and install. In the options of this software you can set the dimensions of the icon file choose 16x16 or 32x32.
Second thing you should do is creating your own image which you want to use as your icon. If you want to use it for business blog, it is great to have your business logo as your icon. Great software for creating images is Photoshop. But if you are not skilled enough with Photoshop or you are just lazy to design your own icon, there are many free icons available on the Internet.
Now if you downloaded free icon form the Internet, you can skip to the next paragraph. But if you designed your own image, you are going to need to convert it into ico file. It is simple open Imagico software and drag your saved image into the window. The software will automatically change your image into ico file and save it.
The next step is to upload your ico file into hosting server. I prefer free hosting by Google Page Creator. If you are logged in click on the Create a new page. You will be taken to layout of your new website. We are not going to design the website so just click “Back to site manager”. On the right site of your site manager you can see “Uploaded staff” widget. Click on the link Upload and add your icon. After you uploaded your icon, write down its url.
Log in to your blogger dashboard. Click the Layout of blog where you want to have your icon. Now click on Edit HTML and look for this part of html code (use ctrl+f for search)
Copy the following code right after the link above.
Change the part “URL of your icon file” for the url link of your icon you written down before.
Preview your template and if you are satisfied with result save it. That's all.

Before you submit your private information look for https in the address (you can find this in the upper browser window with the url). Https means secure server.
Verify the seller
Look for the small padlock icon (it should be located on the bottom right of your browser window). By clicking on it you should be able to see seller verification certificate. However this does not guarantee seller’s ethical business behavior.

You should be able to find here information about how will be your private information used, if they are stored or sold.

I know this topic is not related to the online business. But I have to share this. I spend last 4 hours trying to display HTML code in previous article about SEO optimization. I must say it was the biggest challenge I had to face since I have started blogging. Why? Because all the tutorials I have found on the Internet were simply not working for me. I don’t know why, maybe it is because of my layout. After all my trying I manage to do it. I admit it is not the easiest way but the only which works for me. So if anybody else have problem display HTML code in ordinary way (by using only escaped code). Try this method which uses Iframes.
Tutorial: How to display HTML code using Iframes
1. Copy html code you want to display in blog and past it here. Click on the “Make it friendly” button on the bottom. You will see the text which will looks quite messed up. I don’t want to bother you with the explanation why we had to do this or what this newly created text means. Just copy the whole text.
2. Open your Notepad and past this text.
3. Save notepad using Save as option and change the .txt file extension for .htm
4. Now you have to find free hosting provider. There are many of them but almost all of them delete your files after 30 days. So I rather decided for free Google pages. As far as I know they don’t delete files.
5. Now log in to your account and “Create a new page”.
6. You will be taken to newly created page, since we don’t want to design the layout, for our purpose just click “Back to site manager”.
7. On the right side of your site manager there is an "Uploaded staff" widget. Click and upload your .htm file.
8. Write down the link location (or simple right click on the uploaded fail and choose Copy link location).
9. We are almost finished. Now just copy the code below:
10. Replace the example link from the box above (example link is: http://hosting-provider.com/your-file.html) for the link which you noted down in the step 8. You can also change the width and height of the box. And that's it. If you follow all the steps correctly you should have the box with the code similar to mine in step 9.

Add meta description and keywords easily
Meta description is important tool how to attract visitors to visit your site. This is the description which appears under your link in Google search. If you don’t use meta description Google will simply choose a part from your site and use it as description. This is not very good for people who search on the Internet, they may miss what is your blog about.
Adding meta description and meta keywords is really simple:
1. Again we are going to change HTML code of blog. So log in to your blogger account. Click on Layout and choose Edit HTML.
2. Search for this part of code:

THE DESCRIPTION – delete the Caps Locked text in the code above and write there short description of your blog. It should not exceed 30 words.
ALL KEYWORDS here – delete the Caps Locked text in the code above and write there all you keywords which you are using, separate them by commas.

Use image ALT tags
Another technique how to optimize your blog is using ALT tags for your images. ALT tag is alternative text used to describe your images.
Here is the way how to add them:
1. Log in to your blogger account. Click on the Edit Posts tab. Click on the Edit link next to the article where you want to add image ALT tags.
2. Now you can choose 2 views of the article, one is Compose (this is how the article will look for visitors) and there is Edit Html tab. Click this tab.
3. Find the image, it can look similar to this code
4. Now add the key words you want for this image (article) so you will have something like this
Delete the Caps Locked text and instead of it write your short description (*you dont have to use cams lock font).

Today I just noticed my blog appears on the Google search. This is great because it took only few days to get indexed. Although the blog headline which appearing on the Google is out of date (I have change the name of the blog meanwhile) the point is, my URL is up. Now I just need to wait until my blog will be crawled again so the information will be updated. All I was doing to get indexed was writing articles and submitting my url to Google (you can do it here www.google.com/addurl). I also joined few webmaster forums and promote my blog using my signature. Now I can declare my first goal was accomplished.
My next goal is to improve my PR. This can be done through SEO optimization. I will start to submit my blog to SEO friendly website directories and start to look for link exchange partners. I will continue updating my blog with original articles as well.
I am still not decided about my blog layout it is maybe too simple, but finding good 3 column layout which looks professional and clean is really hard. So if you have any tips for nice blog templates let me know:)

In previous articles I was talking about importance of link exchange. It is great SEO tool which improve your Google page rank (PR) and get you higher in search engines what should lead to higher traffic to your blog. But the point is how to persuade owners of sites to add your link?
Especially when you have a new blog who would like to exchange link with you? What benefit would opposite site gain from it? You have no PR and no traffic you are simply unattractive:). The only powerful tool you have is your creativity in writing and in designing of your blog.
Before you would just think about link exchange improve your blog. Find nice and suitable customized template. There are plenty free blog templates which are really nice and looks professional. I personally prefer professional clean looking templates because they look serious.
After you found your desired template and installed it successfully, start to write articles. When you have new blog I suggest you write every day at least 1 article consist of at lest 250 words. This way you will create wide content and what is more you will be listed in search engines faster. Write about things you know, you can share some useful advices as well. You should also think about key words which should be used through your articles (but avoid key words overusing, not more than 5%-10% of all words in article). And check your grammar (just hope I don’t have grammar mistakes here:)
If you have created content of at least 10-15 articles you can start looking for good candidates for link exchange. Where to search? I think Google search is good for beginning but I personally prefer searching in good sites directories. When searching use your keywords this way you will find out who are your competitors, they are also your potential link exchange partners.
After you find good sites (good = higher PR than you have and focused on similar topics as you are writing about) try to contact the owners. Good sites usually have contact forms so you can use them. Also lots of sites use chat boxes widgets with dofollow link, you can write there as well. Always be polite and respectful, try to point out the advantages of link exchange with you. Give them few days to respond if they don’t react they are probably not interested there is no point to contact them again.
Leave comment on other blogs, but try to write something constructive something what will contribute to the whole topic. If your comment is interesting you will probably get the attention of the blog author he may contact you for link exchange.
Also good tip is to ask in relevant forums if you are active member you will probably have good results. There are many forums with link exchange market places so you can try there as well.

HYIP is a shortcut for High-yeald investment program. I must admit I don’t like this way of making money on the Internet at all. So if you are fan of these earning money programs consider further reading of this article:)
So how do most of the HYIPs work? It is really simple pyramid scheme when everything run smoothly until there is enough new members joining and willing to invest. The program usually promises fast return of your investment with some nice extra earnings. You don’t need to do anything just invest, wait for few days and cash out money.
Why are people willing to join hyips?
They usually offer nice design since they want to attract visitors and create the imaginings of honest and professional business.
The whole scamming process looks usually like this:
You find this program and think: “Hey what’s this site all about? It looks nice and offers fast income without any work. Let’s try it and invest just $5.” After few days you receive payment $6 without any problem. You think you just found gold mine and decide to reinvest money plus add something more from own pocket. And again you receive your payment without problem fast. Now you think the program is honest since you were paid. You decide to do some serious investment and thinking how easy is making money online. Next day you want to check your account to see how your investment is progressing. But what??! The site is gone. Congrats you were just scammed and will probably never see your money again.
Only think I can suggest you if you will get into this situation contact your money processing operator (usually alertpay or liberty reserve work with most of hyips) and tell them what happened. If you will be lucky you can gain back at least part of your investment. But best advice I can give you here is just avoid hyips and look for less risky business.

In the previous article I was writing about how to get indexed by Google. This is the first step to get traffic to your sites. After you will be added to Google people will be able to find you. But it is generally truth that the most traffic getting sites on the first searching page. In this article I will try to provide some SEO tips how to improve Google position.
• I think the most essential to increase your Google position is link exchange. That means you will agree with other site owner that he will put link to your site on his site and vice versa. It is important to look for sites with higher page rank (PR) than your site has and also it should be focus on the same topic as you are writing about. The more sites are linking to you the higher reputation you have and the higher position in Google you will have.
• Update your content regularly with unique articles. Google prefer active blogs so try to write as much as possible. You should use your keywords but be careful not overuse them (it is good to use keywords especially at the beginning of the articles). Try to write for your audience not for the SEO or Google. People will like your blog more and will stay longer at your site. And important warning: Don’t duplicate the content of other sites, it will be much harder for you to gain good position in Google.
• Inside linking. Link your articles to each other for example you can refer to previous article you have written. This way you can create more complex blog and Google bots will find all your articles easier.

Firs I have to say I am not an expert in this filed all I know I have learned by myself when I was creating my first blog and I also read a lot of articles about this:) So let’s continue, I think the best way how to increase traffic to your site is to let people find you through search engines. This way you will receive quality traffic to your blog that means people who are probably interested in the topic you are writing about. Before you can start thinking how to get indexed by google or yahoo it is very important to think about the keywords you would like to use in your site.
Keywords are words or phrases which best describe the main topic of your article/s. You have to choose them wisely, imagine what kind of audience you want for your blog and which words will they use in search engines. It is good if you can find niche market which is big enough to receive nice traffic but not too competitive (settled by many strong competitors).
After you have find out your keywords you should create your blog content where you will be using your keywords (be careful don’t use them too much it will harm your position in search engines and audience don’t like it as well). Try to write as much as you can, that is important especially when you have new blog. It usually takes some time to get noticed by search engines. You can speed thing up by submitting your blog to web directories. There are also websites which submit your blog to these search engines for free so so you will be noticed faster by search engines. For this purpose I recommend sites like submitexpress.com.

Everybody want to make money, right? And the best way is when we can earn them easily, fast and from comfort of our homes. This is the main idea of all earn money online programs. One thing I have learned when I was looking for these making money programs was: There is no easy way of earning cash. Although these programs are trying to create this kind of illusion. It is just an illusion. It doesn’t work in the real world.

Firs way of making money on the Internet I will be writing here about will be pay to click sites or simply PTC sites. These are websites where you can earn money simply by clicking on ads published by advertisers. They usually pay 1 cent per 1 ad clicked and half cent for each click your referral do.
So why people like PTC sites?
• I think it is primary because clicking ads is simple, there is no skill required.

And now let’s face the truth, or how it really works?
Yes there is really no fee to pay to join these sites. But your earnings will be quite slow (since the usual pay rate is 1 cent). But meanwhile you learn the main income here comes from rented referrals, so you decide to invest small money to rent referrals hoping they will be clicking all ads and bring you some cash. Unfortunately usually this not happen, referrals may click for few days but after that they usually give up and leave. So you don’t earn back your investments but still hoping next time you will get better referrals so rent again. But the situation will repeat. After some time you are fed up and leave. But this is the case of only trusted ptc sites. But most of ptc sites are scams, they will collect some bux from users and leave and users will never see the money. These scammers just undercut the name of the whole ptc industry what have negative impact on those few best ptc sites which are really paying.
But I must admit that some people are really earning big money here, how? They invest big money to upgrade membership and rent 4000 and more refs but they must be also clever and manage their account properly otherwise they big investments will just hardly return not talking about net profit.
Will ptc industry survive? We can just guess. But my opinion is the profit for users will be decreasing, what will lead to decreasing of main source of income for these sites what are users’ investments (users will be wiling to invest less since they will be earning less). The second earning source of these sites is advertisers who are promoting their businesses. But users are still less attentive and usually don’t care about the ad content, so I think in the future there will be still less big advertisers for these PTC sites. I think there have to be something done to sustain this segment. Ptc sites must bring some higher value to the users so they will be willing to stay and click. Maybe creating some kind of social networks ptc sites or ptc sites where you have to pay a fee, so people who will pay will be willing to stay longer since they would want to collect their investments back. As I sad we can just guess only future will show us:)
